| I love my wife, Marlene, very much. However, sometimes she
can be extremely silly. I have taken the space on this page to publish
some illustrations. I enjoy her antics so much that I thought that I would
share them with you if you're interested.
"I can sell those books!" (June 2000)
This story begins when Marlene decides that she loves Agatha Christie
so much that she absolutely must have all of the books written by her.
After doing some shopping on E-Bay, my wife had all the books she wanted,
with extras. She decided to sell the extras in her own e-bay auction. She
spent about an hour taking pictures, organizing, and writing the
description for her auction. She ended up selling the extra books for a whole
$3.00! She charged the person $3.20 for shipping on top of that. She
then promptly took her parcel to the post office and spent $6.50 to send
it to the buyer. In all, she only lost 30 cents on the transaction. Not
too bad.
